Whether you call it Buddhism or another religion, self-discipline, that’s important. Self-discipline with awareness of consequences. – Dalai Lama.
The power to achieve
We can all find the power to achieve our goals when we have self-discipline. The energy of the self is far greater than most people realize. Good health is partly a state of mind, helped by finding positivity in everything. There are of course certain illnesses and accidents that need full medical attention.
We’re great believers in plant-based nutrition, however, temptation is at every turn. Self-discipline is needed to control our intake of all the things that we know are unhealthy. Meat, sugary foods, too many carbs, alcohol, the list could be long, but when we have self-discipline we can regulate our intake to be healthier.
Above all else know thy self, is the well-versed phrase of Socrates. It’s as true today as it was when he was alive over 400 years BC. A lack of self-discipline often stems from emotional pain, possibly from childhood. When we are self-aware enough to know the problems we have suffered, we can be compassionate to ourselves. We may then be able to find the ability to say no to the foods and drinks that cause problems.
Good health essentially comes from within, and when we can think positively we can generally live healthily. Having our body in good shape is not only a sign physical fitness, but it gives us a sense of desirability too.
Once you have the self-discipline to eat the right foods that nourish your body, you know you can have the self-discipline to do anything you want. Finding spiritual joy, the ecstasy of being alive, comes with regular spiritual practice. Daily practice that combines physical activity, emotional healing and spiritual joy brings the quickest results.
We recommend Seven Kriya practice for anyone who needs to find out what’s missing from their life. We teach it on a one to one basis due to it’s lineage. Once the techniques are mastered there are amazing journeys of body, mind and spirit to be experienced.
There’s only one way you can achieve anything personally meaningful. That’s by doing it yourself. No one can do it for you and if you can’t do it, it doesn’t happen. Awareness and acceptance go hand in hand with appreciation to make the trilogy that brings us the blessings of all we want in life.
When we can truly appreciate the world around us we feel a compulsion to give thanks. Gratitude is the real key to unlock manifestation. Even gratitude needs controlling to resonate with the energy of the Earth.
