Caring and Integrity –
Live so that when your children think of fairness, caring, and integrity, they think of you. ~ H. Jackson Brown Jr.
Recent events surrounding the Covid-19 scenario have definitely brought out the caring and integrity of people. Whilst caring and integrity are not really enough alone, the actions they’ve created have been inspiring. It renews faith in human nature to see help through the community that was never so apparent before. Once we lose our caring and integrity or stop thinking about how we can lookout for others, the energy changes completely. We can now see every week by the applause and respect given to NHS workers, just how much caring and integrity we have. Rainbow pictures adorn many household windows as a tribute to their efforts. Greater numbers of volunteers than ever before have put themselves forward to help. Even the homeless have been miraculously housed in empty hotels.
Captain Tom has raised a phenomenal amount for the cause and broken a few records in the process. How wonderful for someone of such senior years to infuse his caring and integrity into the community at large. A Knighthood for him would be well deserved. We can all do more to show we care, even in and for our own family. Before the pandemic we could have been forgiven for thinking that we had lost the art of sharing; caring and integrity seemed very distant.
Happiness comes from what we do for others. What could bring greater joy to another soul than the deeds of helping others through this crisis? It takes courage to care for others and it is those same courageous people who will help to change the world. However, there also needs to be an element of self care as well. Unfortunately being selfless can lead to health problems of a different sort. We’re already beginning to see the pressure and stresses of this lock-down affecting people’s mental health.
None of us are used to being told to stay at home. A lot of people with previously strained relationships will really struggle under the present conditions. Loneliness is rife, we talk to many desperate people. We’re always happy to help couples find a new magic in their relationship. When things seem particularly bad, take time to consider your blessings. Appreciation and gratitude are the two elements that can help you live with the most caring and integrity. http://www.lionelpalatine.com
Life can be very hard for some people; we all need to realize how vulnerable we are. Men particularly struggle with the complexities of life and going from a wild man to a wise man takes help and guidance. There’s lots of books out there, and what better time to settle down and learn than while we’re under this self imprisonment? Freedom comes through caring and integrity, when others think more of you than you think of yourself. In these trying times we each need to find our own sense of freedom, balance and harmony in how and where we live. Emotional freedom, physical health and true happiness are all interconnected.
Blissland sends out its messages of caring and integrity everyday xx.
